At St. Francis Xavier's School, we aim for ALL our children to become confident, fluent readers as well as nourishing and developing their personal preferences to foster a real LIFELONG love of reading.

A small amount of reading each day makes an incredible difference and the cost of not doing so is far too great!

Our 20 minute home/school reading pact!

We promise to read with your child for AT LEAST 10 minutes a day

AND

You match it by reading with your child for a further 10 minutes a day at home

10 mins at home       +        10 mins at school        = the MAGIC 20 mins a day!
